Toronto based golf company; Pelz Player Greens Properties announces an agreement with world renowned short game expert Dave Pelz to manage distribution of Pelz Player Greens systems worldwide.

Pelz Player Greens systems feature realistic performance as the result of years of research and development by Pelz to make his famous backyard training facility with realistic greens that accept every kind of shot while requiring little maintenance. Design options can include a wedge “calibration” range and putting pads that Pelz built in his backyard to help tour players like Phil Mickelson prepare for major championships.

The focus of Pelz Player Greens will be large scale projects including short courses, putting courses, indoor and outdoor practice areas, multiple putting green areas, college training facilities, and golf entertainment complexes. The artificial turf design and construction will feature Dave Pelz patented ShotStopperä technology and materials, along with Pelz approved SYNLawn artificial turf material.

“Dave Pelz built the world’s greatest backyard where tour players practice and fine tune their golf game before winning major championships,” said Dan Pady, VP of Sales & Marketing for PPGL. “Now we can build the world’s greatest artificial golf courses and practice and training facilities, making golf more accessible, and more fun, while conserving the environment.”

Dave Pelz says, “We are thrilled to bring Pelz Player Greens with our patented ShotStopper technology, developed and proven in my backyard, to the greater Golf community.”

Established international golf course architect Paul Jansen is the lead designer and is working closely with Dave and Eddie Pelz on designs and quality control. Jansen is currently in discussions with international clients that want to build Pelz Player Greens projects in Dubai and Asia. Jansen shares Pelz passion for conservation and saving water on our planet. Jansen comments “Pelz Player Greens can be built in land areas that a natural grass golf course could not utilize until now and requires no cutting, mowing, or water, and require no grow-in period.”

Dan Harrison, principal of Golf Supply House in Canada says, “We have been successfully installing artificial turf applications for many years, and now Pelz Player Greens with ShotStopperä cutting-edge greens technology allows us to offer a premium

product with realistic playability to golf courses, golf ranges, and university training centers so Canadian golfers can practice and play like Tour pros.”
