The Canadian Society of Club Managers Announces Rebrand to the Club Management Association of Canada

The Canadian Society of Club Managers (CSCM), the national professional society for individuals involved in the club management profession in Canada, announced that it is changing its name to the Club Management Association of Canada (CMAC) effective immediately. At the heart of this rebranding is a change of the organization’s name and update to the corporate logo to better reflect both the evolution of the organization as well as its vision for the future. The new logo subtly captures the notion of connectedness, core to the vision of the organization, while offering a nod to the past by maintaining some of the elements of the CSCM logo.

“Our name has changed to more clearly represent our vision of inclusivity and diversity as we continue to grow,” said president, Jeff Germond, CCM. “Our objective is to represent each one of our members, regardless of their role, tenure, or background in the club management industry. CMAC better captures our membership which includes professionals such as general managers, chief operating officers, assistant general managers, clubhouse managers, golf superintendents, chefs, controllers, food and beverage supervisors, golf professionals, as well as students interested in pursuing a career in club management.”
