Sarnia Golf and Curling club has hired Glenn Phillips

Sarnia Golf and Curling club has hired Glenn Phillips as their new General Manager and COO. Glenn Phillips is a golf and hospitality professional with extensive experience and has helped many private and daily fee clubs achieve their full potential. Glenn also shares his knowledge with the food and beverage side of the golf industry by writing a column in each issue of Pro Shop magazine and on the golfindustrynetwork.ca web site.

Sarnia Golf and Curling club has a long history dating back to 1907 when a few enthusiasts laid out a nine-hole course with sand greens. By 1917 a new clubhouse was built and in operation. Construction of the new nine holes started in 1926 and was ready for play in 1927 on land that was secured on a long-term lease from Grand Trunk.
