Mizuno adds to M CRAFT Putter Series

Mizuno‘s heavyweight putter line gains momentum for 2024

At the end of 2022, Mizuno quietly introduced the heavyweight M.CRAFT OMOI series to its forged putter line-up, well regarded for precision and feel. The supply of heads was so limited, that Mizuno did not carry the M.CRAFT on its tour workshops. Without tour support, the initial3 models 01 / 02 / 03still moved very quickly and became a prized possession amongst putter enthusiasts.

Now heading into 2024 Mizuno is about to drop 3 new models–the 04, 05 and 06, this time with stock on its Tour workshops.

“The extra weight of the MCRAFT line produces stability within some very compact profiles–very much the best of both worlds. Now with an expansion to six shapes and the reaction from players at The Open, we’ll expect to see some more tour usage and the MCRAFT to evolve from a cult possession to a more regular sighting in 2024.

·       Forged from soft 1025 carbon steel.

·       CNC Milled face for precisions / consistency.

·       Heavyweight head for stability and roll

·       Controlled face rotation–by balancing increased head weight with a lighter grip.

“With the OMOI series we added up to 28g depending on the model, without increasing the size of the original MCraft putters–it produces a very different feel and face rotation.”
