Golf equipment to elevate your game

Paul Greenglass has seen Golfing Buddies flourish over their 15 years in business because of his two-pronged approach.

“We try and provide ultimate value not only for the pro shop but the consumer at the end,” says the Golfing Buddies president.

“We want the customer to be able to buy something in the pro shop with value and we want the pro shop to be able to offer them items with value while at the same time being able to make the margin.”

Keeping your pro shop full of exciting items keeps Greenglass on his toes.

“Not long-ago Golfing Buddies took over the license for Major League Baseball products,” he explains. “So, we can do all of our products with the Toronto Blue Jays and other MLB teams logos on them.

“And last year we took over running Caddy Pro, which has the NHL License. Now we have all the NHL teams, which we can sell and promote.”

With seven NHL teams in Canada and all of them having their own die-hard fans it represents a huge opportunity for pro shops.

“We can do cart bags, head covers and all the accessories with NHL logos on them,” explains Greenglass.

“They’re great for Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, birthdays or the holiday season.”

And, as Greenglass point outs, NHL team logoed cart bags and stand bags are a good show piece for the pro shop.

“Just having one in the pro shop takes the shop to the next level,” says Greenglass.

While Golfing Buddies carries hundreds of items including towels and umbrellas, if you are looking for something that really looks sharp with an NHL logo or the Blue Jays logo on it consider their popular Namaka water bottle line.

Many golf courses have eliminated drinking fountains for health reasons and staffing issues have kept many half-way houses closed but experts agree staying hydrated is one of the most important things you can do on the golf course – it’s the magic elixir.

That’s why Namaka is named after a Hawaiian Water Spirit.

They can keep cold drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot drinks hot for up to 12 hours.

If it’s high tech you’re looking for Golfing Buddies, has you covered there as well.
