Fairview Mountain Golf Course in BC hit by flood and mudslide

A section of Fairview Mountain Golf Course near Oliver was hit by flooding and a mudslide late on Thursday as a result of a heavy rainstorm in the area.

The course is closed currently, and head pro Charlie Martin said staff should know later on Friday how long the closure should last.

“(The damage) has been limited in terms of impact on the course. It more is across and through sections where it doesn’t really impact the course of play,” Martin said.
