Brian Dueck joins Royal Regina Golf Club

A former general manager and head pro at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Club has been hired to be the new general manager of the Royal Regina Golf Club.

Royal Regina announced the hiring of Brian Dueck last week. His hiring took Feb. 25.

Dueck comes to the Royal Regina Golf Club with more than 25 years of experience in the golf industry as a golf professional and general manager. He spent 20 years at Woodlawn, and he spent the past four years as a sales representative at Power Dodge in Estevan.

During his time at Woodlawn, the golf course went through a number of projects, including the construction of the pro shop and clubhouse, the restoration of the course following the flooding of the Souris River in 2011 and the renovation of the back nine that was completed in 2013.

He has his PGA of Canada Class A membership and in his spare time is a Level 5 referee for Hockey Canada.

“We are very enthusiastic to have Mr. Brian Dueck join our management team at the Royal Regina Golf Club,” said Royal Regina president Chris Frohlick. “Brian is originally from Regina and understands our market having worked at both the Tor Hill and Murray Golf Clubs prior to moving to Estevan.

“He is going to fit in great with our all-inclusive club culture that promotes enjoyment and camaraderie. Brian comes with a multitude of experiences and has proven track record of success. We are looking forward to having him guide the Royal Regina Golf Club for years to come as we build on our storied history.”
