The city of Abbotsford and Trans Mountain announced the opening of the new Ledgeview Golf Course clubhouse on Wednesday (Sept. 29).
The new clubhouse is a result of a Community Benefit Agreement signed in 2016 for an investment of $1.3 million from Trans Mountain towards the revitalization of the city-owned Ledgeview Golf Course.
Ground was officially broken on the site back in October 2019, the same year the project was finalized by city council with a total budget of $6.8 million, $2.1 million of which came from insurance proceeds of the 2016 fire that destroyed the original clubhouse.
