The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) announced that Bayer Environmental Science is continuing their sole sponsorship of the CGSA/Bayer Superintendent of the Year Award through 2022.
The CGSA/Bayer Superintendent of the Year Award is one of CGSA’s most prestigious awards. The title is awarded to a superintendent who has been nominated by a Provincial Golf Superintendent Association as a knowledgeable and competent member of the profession who has held the position of golf course superintendent for a minimum of five years and who has been distinguished in the practice of golf course management.
“We’re extremely pleased that Bayer is continuing their support of the CGSA/Bayer Superintendent of the Year award until 2022. Together, we’ll continue to honour our country’s top superintendents by providing them with the golf industry’s highest level of education and networking opportunities,” said CGSA President, Greg Austin.
“We are thrilled to continue our ongoing support of the CGSA/Bayer Superintendent of the Year award. The recognition by peers through this award is among the highest a Canadian Golf Course Superintendent can receive. We are truly proud of the partnership we have with the CGSA and their membership and look forward to our continued collaboration,” said the Head of Bayer Environmental Science Canada, Brian Rosenberg.
The winner of the prestigious CGSA/Bayer Superintendent of the Year Award will be announced by Bayer at the Fall Field Day and officially presented with a plaque during the Awards Lunch at The Canadian Golf Course Management Conference.
