Paul Mclean, who recently retired as the CEO of CWB Maxium and was the co-founder of Maxium Financial Services in 1993, acquired Turf Care Products from Ron Craig. In 2015, McLean served as President of Golf Canada.
Turf Care provides products and services to golf courses, municipalities, corporations, contractors, and dealers. Rentals used equipment, irrigation, water management, golf cars, commercial equipment. Some of the brands include; Yamaha, Toro, Stihl, Husqvarna, Kawasaki Engines, Kioti and more. With the head office located in Newmarket Ontario, Turf Care has additional offices throughout Ontario and Quebec. At the GIS 2019 event in San Diego, Toro selected Turf Care as the distributor of the year.
Term of the acquisition have not been made available to the media but it is understood that Ron Craig will continue for the remainder of the year to ensure a smooth transition. Tim Trimper who was recently with CWB Maxium has joined Turf Care Products as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
