He was the clubhouse manager in the late 90s, and since then, has brought Canadian facilities up to par with the professional standard.
A familiar face is back at the Vancouver Golf Club (VGC).
This time, he’ll be in the big office as well as the pro shop.
Brad Pinnell is set to begin his new role as the facility’s general manager on June 1, which will mark a 22-year return to the Coquitlam course.
He started his golf administration career as the VGC’s clubhouse manager from 1998 to 2000.
Now, Pinnell is coming back to the Tri-Cities after five years as the GM of TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley — Canada’s first and only PGA Tour network facility.
Before he ventured out east in 2017, Pinnell teed up a 12-year tenure as the chief operating officer at Vancouver’s Point Grey Golf and Country Club.
He also served as COO of the private Edmonton Country Club for nearly three years.
