Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities will be shared between Sales & Marketing divisions as follows:
Sales Responsibilities:
• Participate in all aspects of the sales process: generating and engaging leads, communicating with partners, executing promotions, processing orders and updating records • Build and maintain sales reports and forecasts • Act as a brand ambassador to raise awareness for TravisMathew, New Balance Golf and other soft good brands within green grass, key accounts and corporate channels • Be able to successfully present and pitch major brands at key appointments and tradeshows
Marketing Responsibilities: • Event planning: candidate will be responsible for organizing, scheduling and executing G&G Golf’s portfolio of 30+ outside events annually • Must be available to work semi-irregular hours (June – August) and travel Western Canada to offsite events • Assist with the creation of marketing newsletters, including copywriting, design and delivery • Produce training presentations, sales materials, and partner/internal newsletters as required • Support with B2B and D2C marketing initiatives, activations and events
Qualifications • University Degree in Business, Communications or related field preferred • Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Event Management or the equivalent of education and experience • Related retail sales or brand management experience would be considered an asset • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal skills • Extensive knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, most importantly Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and their respective audiences • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing daily duties while simultaneously handling larger projects • Outgoing, engaging personality capable of capturing a crowd • Possess strong teamwork and leadership skills • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving ability • Detail-oriented professional with a focused and disciplined approach to task management • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively while working with little supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint) • Valid BC Driver’s License • Ability to lift 40lb boxes/fixtures to assist with Event and Trade Show setup/tear down • Ability to travel within Canada and into the US when required • Must have a valid passport

Employment: Full-time
Compensation: $50,000 – $65,000 (based on experience)
Benefits: Extended benefits plan available after 6 months. RRSP Match available after 1 year.
